A shirt dress that wants a warm evening. Light chiffon in pale aqua with an ornate paisley border in terracotta and gold that runs down the placket, round the hem and along the sleeves; a pointed collar, buttons down the front, long sleeves to roll, and side splits to the knee so it moves when you walk. With flat sandals and a straw bag it is a holiday; with heels it is the dinner at the end of it.
