We opened the Lucienne North store in 2019 with a rail of dresses, a shelf of knits and the idea that a woman should not have to choose between looking good and feeling comfortable. Covid closed the doors; in 2024 we opened them again, online. The idea is still the whole plan.
Every piece on this site has been through our hands first. If it is here, one of us would wear it.
Quality over quantity
Lucienne North is the story of two sisters, Lucy and Marienne North, with a shared love for beautiful clothing.
We first opened our physical store in 2019, but not long after, Covid changed everything. Like many small businesses, we had to close our doors, and for a while, Lucienne North was put on hold.
But our passion for fashion never disappeared. We have always loved finding beautiful pieces and making stylish clothing more accessible and affordable.
So in 2024, we decided to start a new chapter for Lucienne North — this time as an online store.
Since then, one thing has remained at the heart of everything we do: quality over quantity.
We don’t add hundreds of new pieces every week. Instead, we carefully select styles we genuinely love — pieces that combine style, comfort and an accessible price.
Every piece is presented as clearly and honestly as possible, with helpful sizing information to make shopping online a little easier.
Our mission is simple: we believe every woman deserves to look stylish and feel comfortable at the same time, whatever the occasion.
This fall we are opening the doors a little wider, with the FW26 Arrivals sale: warmer layers, easy dresses and knits, and a discount that grows with every piece you add. Welcome in.

Who you'll see in every photo
One model, the whole store through. She's our measuring stick: when we say a dress runs long, we mean on her. Her height and the size she wears are on every product page, so you can read every photo against a body you know.
How we choose
Not a thousand new pieces a day. Everything we bring in is tested against one question: can we honestly tell you who it fits? If we can't measure it, we don't sell it.
What we won't do
No star ratings we haven't earned: a piece without reviews shows no stars, not a zero. No stock photos: one model, our own pictures, her size next to every piece. No extra charges at the door. And plain words in our refund policy, so you know the rules before you order.
